IMG 5241It is with immense pride and joy that we share with you the outstanding achievements of our students!

Once again, we have celebrated another successful year, marked by hard work, dedication, and remarkable accomplishments!

It was fantastic to celebrate the hard work and successes of our wonderful Year 13 cohort who received our best ever set of A Level results, with over a third of students achieving top A*/A grades. Our students sat over 300 A Level qualifications between them and 61% of these were grades A*- B, well above the national average of 54%. A special mention goes to the five students who achieved all A* grades across the board, a truly outstanding achievement. Our University applicants have been delighted with their results, and we are thrilled that 100% of our students holding an offer from Oxbridge achieved the required grades including two for Medicine.

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 cohort who have achieved a stellar set of exam results. A provisional progress 8 score of +1.2 means that pupils achieved on average more than one grade extra progress than their peers with similar starting points from the end of KS2. This progress will rank amongst the very top schools in the country. Pupils achieved a staggering average grade of 6.17 across their best 8 subjects. This matches the previous record from 2022, when grade inflation was in place nationally due to the COVID pandemic. Almost half (49%) of grades were at Grade 7 or above and 88% of pupils achieved Grades 4-9 in both English and Mathematics.

Head Teacher Sophie Cavanagh:

‘The successes secured this year were never in doubt. These results are the product of years of dedication and hard work from both our staff and students; hard earned and well deserved indeed. We are so incredibly proud of our Year 11 and Year 13 2024 cohort and wish them the very best with all their incredibly exciting plans for the future. Well done TKA!’
