Community Day

In early July we hosted our annual TKA Community Day where staff and pupils joined forces to represent and showcase their cultural roots. It was a spectacularly colourful event of food and fellowship, culminating with our first ever talent and fashion show. 

Thank you to the parents who also supported the day through supplying a huge variety of food, drink and other festivities.

Lessons across the week were tailored to draw on the cultural diversity in school and to learn the strength of community from around the world and within our local area.

We intend to build on the success of this event year on year and make Community Day and important fixture of The Kingston Academy's annual calendar.
